2. Website Information Is for General Purposes

The information presented on this website is provided for general informational and promotional purposes. Information concerning repair methods, estimated repair times, insurance claims, vehicle damage, pricing, parts, warranties, promotions, towing, rental vehicles, detailing, or other services should not be considered a binding estimate, repair authorization, guarantee, or contractual commitment unless confirmed in writing by OC Auto Body Shop.

Every vehicle and repair situation is different. An accurate assessment may require an in-person vehicle inspection, diagnostic procedures, disassembly, or additional evaluation.

3. Estimates and Repair Authorization

Submitting a contact form, requesting an appointment, uploading information, calling our shop, emailing us, or communicating with us through the website does not by itself authorize OC Auto Body Shop to perform repairs on your vehicle.

Before repair work begins, estimates, work authorizations, supplements, invoices, and related documentation will be handled in accordance with applicable California automotive repair laws and regulations.

Repair costs discussed online, over the telephone, through email, or through other communications may be preliminary until the vehicle has been properly inspected.

If additional damage or necessary repairs are discovered after work begins or after the vehicle has been disassembled, additional authorization may be required before those additional repairs are performed.

4. Hidden and Additional Vehicle Damage

Collision damage is not always completely visible during an initial inspection. Structural, mechanical, electrical, suspension, sensor, safety-system, frame, body, or other damage may become apparent only after parts have been removed or further inspection has been completed.

Initial estimates therefore may change when additional damage is discovered. When additional repairs or costs require customer authorization, OC Auto Body Shop will seek the required authorization before proceeding in accordance with applicable law.

5. Insurance Claims

OC Auto Body Shop works with major insurance companies and may assist customers with the collision repair and insurance claim process. However, OC Auto Body Shop is an automotive repair business and is not an insurance company, insurance adjuster acting on your behalf, or insurance coverage provider.

Assistance with communicating with an insurance carrier does not guarantee that an insurer will approve, reimburse, or pay for any particular repair, part, procedure, rental vehicle, towing service, storage charge, deductible, or other expense.

Insurance coverage is determined by the customer’s insurance policy, applicable law, and the insurance carrier’s coverage decisions.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing or prohibited by law, the vehicle owner or person authorizing the repairs remains responsible for amounts that are not paid by an insurance company, including applicable deductibles and authorized charges that are not covered by insurance.

6. Your Right to Choose a Repair Facility

Customers may have rights under California law concerning the selection of an automotive repair facility. OC Auto Body Shop encourages customers to make repair decisions based on their own preferences and to review their insurance policy and applicable rights when handling a collision claim.

7. Repair Parts

Depending on the repair, vehicle, insurance coverage, availability, customer authorization, manufacturer requirements, and other circumstances, repair work may involve original equipment manufacturer parts, aftermarket parts, recycled parts, reconditioned parts, or other replacement components.

The specific parts authorized for a repair will be identified or documented as required in the applicable estimate, work authorization, supplement, or other repair documentation.

8. Repair Timeframes

Any completion dates or repair-time estimates provided by OC Auto Body Shop are estimates only unless expressly guaranteed in writing.

Repair completion may be affected by factors outside our reasonable control, including parts availability, manufacturer backorders, insurance approvals, supplemental estimates, hidden damage, weather, vendor delays, rental availability, towing schedules, required calibrations, subcontracted procedures, or other unforeseen circumstances.

We make reasonable efforts to communicate significant changes to anticipated repair schedules.

9. Lifetime Warranty

OC Auto Body Shop may provide a lifetime warranty on qualifying repair and refinishing work. The specific warranty applicable to your repair, including its coverage, limitations, exclusions, claim procedures, and duration, will be governed by the written warranty terms provided or applicable to your repair.

References to a “lifetime warranty” on this website do not create coverage beyond the terms of the applicable written warranty.

Warranty coverage generally does not extend to unrelated mechanical failures, ordinary wear and tear, rust or corrosion unrelated to the repair, subsequent accidents, new damage, abuse, improper maintenance, environmental damage, manufacturer defects, or work performed or modified by another repair facility, except where otherwise stated in the applicable written warranty or required by law.

10. Towing, Rental Vehicles, Drop-Off, and Detailing Promotions

OC Auto Body Shop may offer benefits such as towing assistance, vehicle drop-off assistance, rental vehicle assistance, or complimentary detailing in connection with qualifying insurance-claim repairs.

Promotional offers may be subject to eligibility requirements, insurance coverage, availability, geographic limitations, repair authorization, minimum repair requirements, rental-company requirements, insurance-company requirements, scheduling, and other conditions.

Unless specifically confirmed in writing, website references to free towing, free rental vehicles, free drop-off, complimentary detailing, or similar benefits should not be interpreted as an unconditional offer applicable to every customer or every repair.

Customers should contact OC Auto Body Shop to confirm eligibility and applicable terms before relying upon a promotional benefit.

11. Rental Vehicles

When rental transportation is provided through or arranged with an independent rental-car company, the customer may be required to enter into a separate agreement with that company.

The rental company may impose separate requirements concerning driver’s licenses, age, insurance coverage, deposits, fuel, mileage, additional drivers, vehicle damage, late returns, upgrades, or other matters.

OC Auto Body Shop is not responsible for the independent rental company’s terms, policies, vehicle availability, or charges incurred outside any benefit specifically authorized by OC Auto Body Shop.

12. Towing and Third-Party Services

Some services associated with a repair may be provided by independent third parties, including towing companies, rental-car companies, dealerships, calibration providers, parts suppliers, glass companies, diagnostic facilities, or other specialized vendors.

Where required, applicable third-party charges, authorizations, agreements, and disclosures may be handled separately from the automotive repair agreement.

13. Appointment Requests

An appointment or preferred-day request submitted through this website is a request only and does not guarantee availability.

An appointment is considered confirmed only after OC Auto Body Shop has accepted or confirmed the requested date or time.

Repair schedules may change depending on vehicle condition, shop capacity, parts availability, insurance processing, and other circumstances.

14. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information concerning their vehicle, ownership, insurance claim, contact information, prior repairs, existing damage, and any other facts reasonably necessary to evaluate or perform the requested services.

Customers should remove cash, jewelry, electronics, documents, personal property, valuables, and other unnecessary items from their vehicle before leaving it for service. OC Auto Body Shop’s responsibility for personal property is subject to applicable law and any separate written repair or storage agreement.

15. Website Forms and Electronic Communications

When you submit your name, telephone number, email address, vehicle information, insurance information, or other information through this website, you authorize OC Auto Body Shop to contact you regarding your inquiry, appointment, estimate, repair, insurance claim, or requested service.

Communications may occur by telephone, email, or text message when appropriate and permitted by law.

Submitting information through a website form does not guarantee an appointment, estimate, insurance approval, or availability of a particular service.

16. Marketing Communications

Where you separately subscribe to newsletters, promotional communications, or marketing messages, you may receive information concerning OC Auto Body Shop’s services, promotions, automotive care information, or other business updates.

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe instructions contained in those communications. Transactional communications concerning an active estimate, repair, appointment, claim, or customer-service matter may still be sent when appropriate.

17. Accuracy of Website Information

We make reasonable efforts to keep information on this website accurate and current. However, services, promotions, operating hours, availability, descriptions, website content, and other information may change without notice.

Typographical errors, outdated information, technical errors, or incomplete information may occasionally appear. OC Auto Body Shop reserves the right to correct or update website information at any time.

18. Vehicle and Repair Photographs

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is determined to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force to the maximum extent permitted by law.
